Mount Annapurna (28°35′46″N 83°49′13″E)

Today we traveled to mount Annapurna, which was a good day to go because the sun was shining. We didn’t get very close to the mountain, only close enough to have a great view of the mountains,    while we learned about the Eurasian plate.

The Eurasian plate is a divergent boundary, but that is just the general classification. It is more specifically known as a collision boundary. A collision boundary is when two joining plates that have continents fuse together and become one. When the two plates collide the crust at the boundary pushes upward which creates a mountain range.

The Himalayas were created when India and China were pushed together and it is still happening now at about 5 cm each year and the most recent earthquake around 11 months ago.
I should probably go it’s really late and I am super tired, tomorrow is my last day I want to go to a really good restaurant. See you in the next country!

Everest has always been the desirable name among all the people around the world, mostly the adventure lovers. To reach at an altitude of 8,848m isnot an easy task, it requires a lot of hard effort and dedication. It can be the greatest achievement in one’s life, overcoming the fear of the harshness of the nature. Mount Everest is also known as Chomolongma which resembles the meaning as a mother earth. Everest was successfully conquered byEdmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa
